USA Prides supports LGBTQ+ Pride organizations in the United States and its territories through collaboration, networking, resource-sharing, and education.
We envision a nationwide network of LGBTQ+ Pride organizations working together to successfully create safe, accessible, and inclusive spaces within their communities.

USA Prides has member organizations just like you, from the smallest towns in America's rural heartland to some of the world's largest LGBTQ+ celebrations.
Our four member districts help you to connect with other local and regional Pride organizers experiencing some of the same joys and challenges of organizing that you face in your own community.



Membership Details

Membership in USA Prides is accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis and is renewed on a member organization's anniversary date (for example, the membership year for an organization signing up on May 1 would run through April 30 of the following year.

For members that operate a Pride Community Center and produce a festival, membership dues for USA Prides are based on revenues from Pride festival-related activities. This may include a parade, march, rally, festival, arts or cultural festival or event, or some other activity organized for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Waivers: USA Prides is committed to ensuring that financial hardship does not prevent organizations from participating in our community of Pride Network, accessing resources, or staying connected to peer support. For Membership Waivers click here. This form is used to request a waiver or reduction of Membership dues due to financial hardship. The information you share will help us understand your situation and review your request thoughtfully and respectfully. All requests are reviewed with care and confidentiality. Request for a waiver is not automatic acceptance.
Types of Membership

Full Members of the Organization shall, if in good standing, have access to all membership benefits and have full voting privileges on all matters within its purview.

Associate Members is a membership for organizations not meeting the requirement of being a not-for-profit organization. Associate Members of the Organization shall have access to limited membership benefits and shall not have voting privileges on any matter being considered by the Membership. Associate members must submit an application to the Board of Directors.

Affiliate Members such as Pride Networks and Partners of the Organization shall have access to limited membership benefits and shall not have voting privileges on any matter being considered by the Membership. Affiliate members must submit an application to the Board of Directors.
Cost of Membership
Membership dues are based on your organization’s gross annual income of the previous fiscal year. Your most recently submitted 990 must be submitted with your application (it's ok if it is not for your most recent fiscal year). USA Prides will review membership fees on an annual basis. Fees may increase.
